Suckers is a performance in which the act of sucking forms families, and bed is a stage for making new family members. Performers toy with one another and stockings, odd characters are being born, and fingers search for newcomers. Suckers premiered in LOU gallery, Helsinki.
New Fam is a performance art collective founded by Teo Ala-Ruona and Anni Puolakka. It explores how families and communities are formed, and the social imaginaries that shape them.
